General surgeons are physicians who have advanced training that allows them to perform invasive procedures on their patients.
At Central Ohio General Surgeons (formerly Lancaster Surgical Associates), your appointment includes time for examination and discussion. Our staff prides themselves on their professionalism and courtesy. Please feel free to ask questions at any time.
We ask that new patients arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment to allow time for completion of the appropriate paperwork. To help expedite this process please visit the Patient Form section of our web site. You can download and complete the new patient form, or you can complete the online form and submit the completed paperwork directly to our office.
We try to see all patients at their scheduled appointment time, however as surgeons, we are on call surgeons. Therefore, at times, we must cancel office hours on short notice. Taking this into consideration, we ask for your patience and understanding. If we indeed are called away from the office or are unable to see you for any reason, we may ask that you be seen by another surgeon in our group.

Board Certified
Our surgeons have attained certification by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). They have specialized knowledge and skill relating to the diagnosis, preoperative, operative, and postoperative management of surgical problems. Our physicians, in addition to their standard training, have passed a day long written and oral exam. In addition, their credentials and training must meet the stringent standards of the ABS and American College of Surgeons.
